Day 1 – Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica
Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica, one of our English Speaking tour directors will greet you at the airport. After interactions with the tour director, he will provide the family transportation to the hotel.
Day 2 – Travel to Tortuguero
Travel to Tortuguero, one of the most exotic areas of Costa Rica.
Enjoy a ride through an extended area of croplands, where pineapple and banana plantations will welcome you along the route to the rainforest. To arrive at your lodge, you will take a boat cruise through the Tortuguero wetlands, enjoying the natural beauty of the local flora and fauna. After lunch, a short walk will take you to the Tortuguero village, where travelers will learn about the culture of its locals. During the evening, enjoy the lodge’s amenities.
Day 3 – Tortuguero National Park
During the morning, enjoy the grounds of the lodge as your tour director conducts a local stroll to find all the secrets hidden around this majestic place. During the afternoon, devote some energy to exploring the Tortuguero national park and experiencing one of the smoothest boat trips available. Finally, enjoy the rest of the day using the lodge amenities.
Day 4 – Travel to Arenal Volcano
The adventure will continue by traveling to the La Fortuna area, one of the most popular regions in Costa Rica due to its impressive Arenal Volcano. This quiet section of the country will welcome travelers with excellent accommodations and a growing tourism economy with many options for different activities. In addition, most hotels offer a fantastic view of the eastern/northern flank of the neighboring Arenal volcano.
Day 5 – Zip-lining and Mistico Hanging Bridges
During the morning, get ready for a super adrenaline rush as you fly like a bird through the treetops. The zip-lining tour is a perfect combination of adventure, nature, and excitement, just at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, recommended for all family ages. Then, continue the excitement by exploring the rainforest from above as you walk through the Mistico hanging bridges, a sequence of suspended bridges located in the heart of the tropical rainforest.
Day 6 – Travel to the Pacific Ocean
Say goodbye to the area of the Arenal volcano. Instead, travel across the highlands of the central mountain range toward one of the most beautiful beaches in the Americas. Manuel Antonio awaits you with warm blue waters and a large amount of wildlife.
Day 7 – Day at Leisure on the Beach
Enjoy a day at leisure or choose among the many day trips offered at the front desk of your hotel. You can go bird-watching, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, or even diving. You could also visit a market and experience the local culture or the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. No matter whether you’d like to spend your time on the Pacific Coast, there are many different options according to your preferences.

Day 8 – Travel home
Pack up your souvenirs because it’s time to go home after beautiful
moments and terrific unforgettable memories. Your Natural Expeditions driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the international airport in San Jose to await your return flight home.
